Our apprentices

  • Undertake a four-year apprenticeship, putting theory into practice, to achieve a nationally-recognised qualification
  • Complete field placements in a variety of locations and tasks, gaining hands-on experience alongside specialised workers
  • Attend our state-of-the-art Technical Training Centre at Prestons, in Western Sydney
  • Have all tools, safety equipment and protective clothing provided and TAFE organised for you, so you hit the ground running
  • Enjoy a great work-life balance, working Monday to Friday, with fortnightly rostered days off (enjoying a long weekend every second weekend), as well as access to 26 weeks of paid parental leave

Pay and benefits

Excellent working conditions include highly competitive pay, 17% superannuation and a fortnightly rostered day off, to support work-life balance. Uniforms, PPE and all tools are provided.

* Allowances include electrical safety rules allowance (ESRA) paid at $160.76 per week once electrical safety training is complete 
**Pay progression occurs at the end of each year of apprenticeship if under 21 in accordance with the WD

Applicant requirements

We're looking for candidates who enjoy problem-solving and have an interest in practical and technical activities. We want team players who are up for a challenge, are passionate about supporting the community and have a genuine interest in the trade.

Applicants must have completed Year 10 and/or, be over 17 years of age, to commence a full-time apprenticeship.
